The whole project is a mixed media engagement with representations of anxieties associated with advancing digital media technology and the accompanying irrelevance of the body in Jonathan Goldstein's meta-radio-drama WireTap. The primary component will be a digital radio documentary, eventually available for download in podcast form. Paired to the recording will be a formal website that explains the documentary, provides a list of sources, links, etc. And then there will be this deliberately informal blog.
The purpose of this blog is to document my own anxieties about creating my multimedia MRP. Why is the blog relevant or useful? Because it would be disingenuous create a digital media project about anxieties associated with digital media, without admitting and documenting my own anxieties. Maybe it won't work. But even if it doesn't, I think the failure of it will be useful nevertheless.
